Available with a ledger connected in the Free Trial, Full Subscription and Add-ons Chase-it
1. What is the initial chase?
When getting started with Chase-it, you can set up a new systematic process to chase your overdue invoice.
However, there might be invoices in your ledger which are older. We call those: 'legacy invoices'. Invoices that are overdue by 50, 100, 200 etc days.
To ensure every customer in your ledger is reminded of their overdue invoice(s) we recommend that you set up an initial chase.
The initial chase is a one-time bulk reminder sent to every overdue invoice in your ledger that has never been chased via Know-it before.
Know-it will look at each account with overdue invoices and send 1 initial reminder per account with a sum up of all overdue invoices. PDF of invoice(s) and statement will also be attached to this reminder.
Unless Paused, each account with at least one overdue invoice will receive this reminder.
To Pause a customer, go to Chase > Chase Summary > Switch off the toggle from green to white for the company you wish to pause
2. When should you use the initial chase?
We recommend sending this initial reminder when getting started with Know-it. This will help make sure that every customer in your ledger with an outstanding debt is aware of it.
