By default, email will be sent from no-reply@chase-it.co.uk. However, Know-it integrates with Gmail and O365 (Outlook), allowing users to send reminders from their mailbox directly.
💡 You are 84% more likely to receive a response when sending reminders from your company/own email address.
1. How does it work?
Once you've integrated your mailbox, Know-it will generate the content of the email, which will then be pushed through your chosen mailbox.
This means those reminders will come through your own mailbox with your Outlook or Gmail signature -no need to add your signature in Know-it. Any replies to those reminders will go directly to that mailbox.
2. How do you integrate your mailbox?
- Go to Chase-it > Settings
- Click on 'Connect' below O365 or Gmail
💡 Depending on your usage of the platform, you can connect a user's email address, or a more general email address such as creditcontrol@... or invoice@...
Your customer's responses to those automated reminders will go directly to the mailbox you have connected. Who needs to have access to this mailbox in your company?
- Enter your details and confirm Know-it access
💡 Know-it will be able to access your mailbox to send the reminders you have set up with your signature, directly from your mailbox. Know-it will also be able to see if reminders have failed to be sent or not. Here are more details on failure reasons and how to deal with them
- Once your mailbox is connected, you are ready to go! Any email you will send from the platform will automatically go from your mailbox, with your signature.

3. Re-Authenticating your mailbox
If you change your O365/Gmail password or change security settings, Know-it will automatically ask you to re-authenticate your mailbox to keep using it to send reminders.
You will receive an email to let you know that your mailbox needs re-authenticated
- To do so, go to Chase-it > Settings > 'Connect' using O365 or Gmail
Until you re-authenticate your mailbox or choose to send reminders from our no-rely@chase-it.co.uk email address, your reminders won't be sent to your customers.
Know-it will show you the following error message when trying to send reminders 'Invalid Chase email settings email'
