What happens when a case is actioned?
1. Using Collect-it with a ledger connected
Want to connect your ledger? Here is an article to help you connect your ledger
- Go to Chase-it > Chase Summary
- Look for the debtor in the search bar. Click on ‘Collect-it quote’
- Select the invoices you would like to add to the quote
- Add your contact details: if our team has any questions regarding the case, they will contact you before actioning it.
- You’ll receive a quote within seconds. To review the quote go to Collect-it > Quote > Click on the quote
- (Optional): Know-it will automatically upload the invoice from your ledger. You can then upload additional files to your case: statements, email exchanges, notes ...
- You can Accept or Reject the quote. If you accept the quote, you'll be asked for the debtor's contact details. Once our team has received the quote, they will review your case and action it within the hour (Business hours are Mon-Fri 9 to 5)

2. Using Collect-it with no ledger connected
- Go to Collect-it > Dashboard
- Click on 'New Quote' > Fill in the details > Click on 'Get quote'
- You’ll receive a quote within seconds. To review the quote go to Collect-it > Quote > Click on the quote

(Mandatory): You will need to upload your invoice(s) to the case. If no invoice is attached, our team will not be able to accept the case.
(Optional) You can upload additional files to your case: statements, email exchanges, notes ... - You can Accept or Reject the quote. If you accept the quote, you'll be asked for the debtor's contact details.
Those contact details are mandatory, the team will need a contact name, email address AND phone number to review the case. Once our team has received the quote, they will review your case and action it within the hour (Business hours are Mon-Fri 9 to 5)
